Gin Gin State High School is situated adjacent to the Bruce Highway, 50 kms north-west of Bundaberg which is a major regional city located in the Wide Bay/Burnett region of Queensland. The school has an enrolment of approximately 450 students. The majority of these students travel from small outlying rural centres.
Our school is a small school with spirit and has attained wonderful academic and vocational results in recent years, reflecting our school purpose of ‘inspiring learning that creates confidence, choice and opportunity now and in the future.’ The school is also very active in sport and cultural pursuits, celebrated annually in our sports awards and school musical evenings.
Gin Gin State High School has implemented School wide positive behaviour support. Our three school rules of ‘Respect Self, Respect Others and Respect Environment’ form the cornerstone for our interactions with others and the environment.
