Immunisation Program

​Oz Care is providing free vaccinations for all Year 7 and Year 10 students, on Tuesday 26th March (YR 7) and Thursday 9th May (YR 10), as part of Queensland Health’s annual School Immunisation Program. All Year 7 and Year 10 students are being offered free vaccinations as recommended on the National Immunisation Program to protect against vaccine preventable diseases. Year 7 students will be offered human papillomavirus (HPV) and diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (whooping cough) vaccination. Year 10 students will be offered meningococcal ACWY vaccination.
 
The vaccinations will be conducted by a team of authorised registered nurses and/or a medical practitioner.
 
A consent pack has been given to your child to bring home. Please read the information booklet, and thank you for returning the signed consent form so promptly.
 
Parents, legal guardians or authorised persons are encouraged to ensure their children have breakfast on the morning of vaccination.
