37th Annual Musical - 'Sheerluck Holmes'

Once again, sixty students have been busy rehearsing and preparing for this year’s production, “Sheerluck Holmes” which is being staged at the Gin Gin State High School Hall on May 11th and 12th. It is another of the hilarious Denver and Dorricott scripts, which parodies everything involving Sherlock Holmes.
The show deals with the fortunes and misfortunes of Sherlock Holmes and his side kick Dr Watson. The fortunes always favour Holmes and the misfortunes, in general, everybody else. Indeed, Grumly Stiff, the undertaker, is kept very busy.
The show’s characters are unique with many hilarious one-liners being spoken. Being set in Victorian England, there are the members of the toffee nosed aristocracy and then the villains who want their share of the goodies, but there are many deceptions as to just who are the villains and those deceptions can be fatal.
Earning the displeasure of Madame Weepoo can also be fatal.
Then there is another problem. What if someone develops a love interest which, given the class system, is taboo?
So treat yourself and friends to a night of entertainment. Tickets can be purchased from the school office or at the door.
